Self-catering Eco-chalet
From R2,100 per night
- Check in time from 3pm
- Check out time Monday – Saturday: 10am
- 2 night minimum stay at weekends.
- Sunday check-out time on regular weekends: 3pm.*
- Children up to 18 years old pay child rates.
*outside school holidays, events, and long weekends. Please check upon arrival.
Prices:
Standard Rate – Weekends, Public & School Holidays excluding summer (Minimum 2 nights at weekends, 3 nights at long weekends)
- R2,100 per night base rate for chalet for 2 people
- R300 per additional adult per night
- R200 per additional child per night
High season 19 Dec 2026 – 4 Jan 2026 (minimum 5 night – exceptions may be possible if fitting between other bookings)
- R2,900 per night high season rate for chalet for 2 people
- R400 per additional adult per night
- R250 per additional child per night
Single night stays are possible midweek out of school holidays or when within 5 days of the booking at weekends.
Sundew Conservation Cabin can also be booked with price starting from R1,850 for 4 people including the purchase of an annual permit. Find out more here.
Booking and Cancellation Policy:
50% deposit is required on booking (100% for single night stays). The remainder is payable a week before. Deposit will be forfeited in full if cancellation occurs 14 days or fewer to start (30 days for a high season booking). For cancellations made earlier than this we reserve the right to charge a 10% administration fee. For reservations cancelled on day of arrival, “no-shows” or early check outs, guest is responsible for full outstanding payment.
Guided Walks
Discover more during your visit to Phillipskop by booking a guided walk. Guided walks are subject to availability, please contact us at least 48 hours in advance to make your booking and avoid disappointment.
Introductory fynbos and rock art walks (2-3 hours): R500 per person (children under 5 free), minimum cost R1,000
Specialist botanical walks (3-4 hours): R800 per person, minimum cost R2,000
FAB Trails (1-2 hours) for resident guests: R150 per person (children under 5 free), minimum cost R600
Half or Full day botanical walks on surrounding nature reserves are also available – please contact us for a quote
Day Visitors Permits
For those not staying in our accommodation, day visits are possible through guided walks or for people who support our conservation work by purchasing a Friends of Phillipskop conservation permit:
- R400 Solo Permit
- R800 Duo Permit
- R1,250 Premium Permit
